NOTE - At this time we are unable to provide None UK mobile numbers and MMS is not supported.
Using Vonage's SMS API we are able to connect an SMS number to the Netsapiens PBX. This allows you to send and receive SMS within the Netsapiens portal.
How Do I get an SMS number?
To order an SMS number, please raise a ticket to the support team ensure you include the domain you want it adding to. Note that at this time, selecting from a list of numbers is not supported, and the number is randomly generated.
Order Process
Once you have submitted your ticket, an agent will provision a number on your account within 24 hours.
You will be able to find your number under "Inventory" -> "SMS Numbers.
TIP - Just like with regular phone numbers, you can freely move the SMS number to any domain you wish after it has been provisioned.
Features
You can both send and receive SMS messages within the portal and apps. These show as regular message conversations.
You can also configure SMS queueing, which will dispatch an SMS to a group of agents in a queue.
