Platform 44.3 Release Notes

NOTE: Version 44.3 is currently in Beta testing.

Version 44.3 contains mainly bug fixes, however a few notable additions are below.

  • Now Cradle to Grave reports for inter-domain calls do not share names and extensions with users of the other domain.
  • Added builder support for Mitel 6915, 6920w, 6930w, and 6940w.
  • Added system and builder support for new Fanvil models: H2U, H4W, and H6W.
  • Fixed issues with UK and Australia national and regional holidays.
  • The Answering Rules page and Answering Rules section of the Home page now reveals more robust time frames data based on time frame updates in v44.1.

API-2156 Improvement When using Remote Recording Storage, after remote offload, wav files are also locally cached for quicker retrieval. No cleanup of these locally cached files was ever established. A script will now cleanup locally cached wav files if they have not been accessed recently.
API-2167 Bug Removed legacy UI Configs with a trailing “_” at the end.
API-2209 Bug Corrected an issue where Agent Logged In statistics were conflated with Agent Available statistics. Now, Logged In statistics are accurately tracked.
API-2218 Bug If a voicemail is being forwarded to a user that has Deepgram enabled, they now get the correct notification. Previously, a v44.1 regression issue resulted in an inaccurate error notification: “voicemail forward failed”.
API-2222 Bug Corrected an issue resulting in duplicate messages when receiving inbound messages to group chats from off-net via Inteliquent.
API-2233 Bug Greatly increased processing speed for hardware information, found in the Inventory Page > Hardware Tab in the Portal, especially for domains with a large numbers of users.
API-2234 Bug Corrected several typos in APIv2 responses.
API-2235 Bug Corrected 4 keywords in APIv2 that contained trailing white space.
API-2236 Bug Corrected an APIv2 syntax Error. In a given line, ['Agent log'] was missing quotes.
API-2255 Bug Improved error handling when the redis server is offline.
API-2257 Bug Corrected a 44.2 regression issue. In some cases, Resellers were unable to view builder configurations within a domain they manage.
API-2258 Bug Fixed an issue where calls hitting the “Forward if unavailable” feature incremented the CH call stat.
API-2261 Bug Removed trailing white space in API v2 return during mms messagesession request.
BAC-16 Improvement Updated the Node.js version for the netsapiens-backup tool to 16.20.2.
BAC-21 Bug Resolved an issue resulting in a failure to match IPv4 addresses with known hosts in the cluster.
BAC-22 Bug Improved Recording module backups by triggering call record data per day (the same interval as CDRs). This lowers memory demands for both the database and backup tool.
BAC-35 Bug Improved data sync and error handling to avoid fail cases when restoring using a manual backup.
CDR-363 Bug Ensured that if a queue call is transferred, the Call Volume and AST stats are incremented, but CH is unaffected. Previously, this case could result in two CH increments for the one call.
CDR-369 Bug Corrected an issue concerning call stats for queue calls that are forwarded to an If Unanswered option. Now call volume is correctly incremented for these calls.
CDR-392 Bug Corrected an issue with queue callbacks. If a caller sat in a queue, selected the callback option, and received a callback, the call would still be marked as abandoned.
CDR-429 Bug Corrected a bug concerning call center stats. Previously, when a queue call is blind transferred to another agent and that agent does not pick up, sending the call to voicemail, the AST count was unaffected. Now, both the queue’s and initial agent’s AST metric is increased after the call.
CDR-430 Improvement Updated the Node.js version for the CDR tool to 16.20.2.
CDR-441 Bug Corrected a call stat issue when transferring to another user with sim ring. If an agent received a queue call and transferred to another user with sim ring enabled, the original agent’s stats would not see an increase in AST.
CHRT-574 Bug Corrected an issue concerning forwarded queue calls. Now, if the queue forwards a call to another queue because of the “If Unanswered” setting, the call will be counted as a Forward in Insights.
CHRT-593 Bug Corrected an issue where Gauge type card in Insights was not showing AST data.
INS-63 Improvement The grafana-agent now has more access to view process information, including open file handles and disk access requests.
NDP-779 New Feature Added builder support for Mitel 6915, 6920w, 6930w, and 6940w.
NDP-925 New Feature Added system and builder support for new Fanvil the following Fanvil models: H2U, H4W, and H6W.
NDP-933 Bug Ensured that NDP Admin Accounts with the Server Type do not have access to domain defaults related to domains on other servers.
NDP-983 Improvement Added Tomcat 10 and Ubuntu 24 support for the Endpoints Module.
NDP-996 Bug NDP/Tomcat API calls were causing a TCP connection leak. Now, connections are closed when the calls are finished.
NDP-1040 Bug Corrected an issue where the SAFE Fraud Score was decreasing too slowly, especially when a large number of IPs had Fraud Scores.
NMS-3050 Improvement Added new possible speech words when announcing the Date-Time when that date is before the current week and the system parameter, SpeakDateTimeVersion, is set to “V2”. For these speech words to be inserted, upload applicable .wav files in the Core Admin UI Speech Words.
NMS-3284 Bug Ensured that emergency calling bypasses domain and connection call limits.
NMS-3328 Bug Corrected an issue with SIP Trunk failover. Now, the system checks rules related to the Registrar Owner to apply failover. If there is no Registrar Owner, the system will fall back to the Connection’s Owner settings instead (previous behavior).
NMS-3437 Improvement Now Dial Translations match on the Diversion header by adding the delimiters <div></div> to the source field.
NMS-3462 Bug Ensured that the Connection rule, CxNoToTag, is honored.
NMS-3476 Bug Corrected an issue concerning geo-calls using call park. When monitoring via BLF, in some cases the user who had been parked would remain busy after the call was ended.
NN-504 Improvement Updated the Node.js version for netsapiens-node to 16.20.2.
OMP-4548 Bug Corrected an issue related to disposition notes. When receiving inbound calls from off-net to a WebPhone, the submitted disposition notes for the call did not save.
OMP-4766 Bug Corrected a bug where MOH messages created with TTS won’t properly save if they contain '#'.
OMP-4821 Bug Updated styling to address an issue with the TOD routing modal if any time frame name contains the word ‘forward’. This caused the modal to render incorrectly.
OMP-5019 Bug AA greetings, menu prompts, and recorded names now get errors if storage is full: this applies to TTS and upload.
OMP-5191 Improvement Added the ability to sort timeframes by the "Ends On" column.
OMP-5447 Bug Corrected a bug concerning Auto Attendant answering rules. When adding a new answering rule to the system user of a Default Time Frame Auto Attendant, forwarding calls to the same Auto Attendant, the answering rule did not correctly populate in Portal and calls were not processed accordingly.
OMP-5475 Bug Corrected 44.1 regression concerning inter-domain calls. When viewing the system-wide call history page using a Super User from a different domain, the TO Name information populated with incorrect data.
OMP-5512 Bug Fixed a bug concerning domain emergency notification settings. After saving, although dial translations were properly generated, the Portal did not populate with the new settings.
OMP-5571 Bug The portal call popup now displays the correct information for cross-domain and inter-domain calls.
OMP-5747 Bug Corrected an issue related to Specific Dates Type Time Frames. In some cases, during the time frame’s time range, the Portal showed the time frame as expired even though the applied answering rule still showed as active.
OMP-5771 Improvement The auto-complete limit for SIP Trunks in the Manager Portal has been increased to 5000.
OMP-5774 Bug Corrected an issue occurring in domains with no sites, where the site drop-down list was autocompleting with empty entries.
OMP-5835 Bug Corrected a 44.2 regression issue concerning scheduled exports. Users were unable to add a new scheduled export on the domain level.
OMP-5842 Bug Corrected a bug occurring when creating a domain. If the default TTS language was not set to English the voice dropdown would not populate.
OMP-5866 Improvement The Answering Rules page and Answering Rules section of the Home page now reveals more robust time frames data based on time frame updates in v44.1.
OMP-5927 Bug When configuring Day of the Week time frames with custom monthly recurrence, duplicate options no longer appear in the recurrence dropdown.
WP-1789 Bug Corrected an issue where custom statuses were not being properly reflected in agent statistics.
WP-1796 Bug Corrected a bug in WebPhone’s voicemail tab. In the tab, phone number formats were not honoring the settings of the following UI Config: PORTAL_LOCALIZATION_NUMBER_FORMAT.
WP-1817 Bug Fixed a bug affecting call transfers. Previously, if an assisted transfer was started and the call card was minimized and then maximized, the Complete Transfer button disappeared and callers had trouble finishing the assisted transfer.
WP-1846 Bug Ensured that in Group SMS chats, the sender’s SMS number appears under the most recent message. Hovering the mouse over other messages will reveal their sender information as well.
WP-1956 Bug Ensured that WebPhone honors the PORTAL_VIDEO UI Config.
WP-1958 Bug Fix for Web App not able to use Microsoft SSO when in fullscreen.
WP-1959 Bug Corrected a bug where contact lists with thousands of entries resulted in very slow WebPhone load times.
WP-1965 Bug Corrected an issue concerning three way calling. Previously, after other participants hung up, a user would erroneously remain in the call, affecting their status. Now, the final user is disconnected as expected.
WP-1983 Bug Corrected an issue with call park. When a WebPhone had two active calls, parked one call, then attempted to park another, the second park attempt did not work.
WP-2000 Improvement Now both the caller’s name and phone number appear in entries of the WebPhone’s voicemail tab.
WP-2009 Bug Corrected a bug occurring when sending an SMS through an entry in the Call History tab. When attempting to send, the card was first minimized and then the user was directed to a new tab without the SMS being sent.
WP-2010 Bug Added ability to save a contact number with a "#".
WP-2021 Bug WebPhone now honors uppercase letters in a domain name. Previously, WebPhone would change domain names to all lower case, for example, sip:1001wp@UPPERcase would be changed to sip:1001wp@uppercase.
WP-2036 Bug Corrected a 44.2 regression issue concerning the Callee Name on WebPhone. Previously, when making a call on WebPhone, the callee’s name was replaced by the caller’s name.
