How To Auto Provision a Grandstream HT801/HT802
A quick summary of the settings needed to provision a Grandstream HT801/802.
- Add the device to the Platform and set a Line.
- Log into the web interface of the ATA and go to the "Advanced" page (pictured above).
- Set "config server path" to <YOUR_FQDN>/cfg, Be sure to remove HTTPS/ HTTP from the beginning.
- Set "Upgrade Via" to HTTPS or HTTP.
- Set HTTP/HTTPS/FTP/FTPS User Name and Password to one time user/pass.
- Set "Allow DHCP option 66..." to: No.
- Set "3CX Auto Provision" to: No.
- Go to the bottom of the page and click "Update", then when the page loads click "Apply", after which go back into the advanced page and select "Reboot".
IMPORTANT: The device is known to be slow to provision, after selecting reboot please give it at least 5 minutes.
TIP: If HTTPS doesn't work, try HTTP (and vice versa).
